Lisa Jordan is Director of the Spatial Data Center at Drew University.  She is also Adjunct Assistant Professor in Environmental Studies & Sustainability, teaching coursework in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  Her teaching and research interests focus on the use of GIS in population geography, public health, and environmental justice.  In particular, her current work centers on the use of the web-GIS application, Population Explorer, to improve accessibility of both geographic and demographic information for food security analysis.  Also, she is leading the EPA-Drew University partnership to promote spatial analytical research of the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI).
