Students, faculty, and visitors are welcome to tour Drew’s Forest Preserve, including Zuck Arboretum and Hepburn Woods.  Zuck Arboretum provides a restful escape from a busy day, and also the opportunity to learn about New Jersey’s native plants and wildlife. Trail guides are available here, at the entrance of the arboretum, and on Google Maps.

Related Campus Sustainability Programs

Three more preservation programs on campus include:

1) The rain garden by Ehinger Center, designed to minimize soil erosion and storm runoff

2) Mead Meadow – the new wildlife habitat area between Mead Hall and Brothers College

3) Fern Fest - a part of our annual Earth Week celebration, replacing campus lawn with diverse native ferns and wildflowers

These programs contribute to the larger project of promoting forest restoration, and preservation of New Jersey native plants and wildlife on our campus.
