The Investigations Division presently utilizes three fully trained officers under the direction of Chief Tom Evans. Detectives handle all reported cases that require in-depth follow-up investigations. Since the Department of Public Safety is responsible for several properties within the town of Madison, the Department of Public Safety and the Madison Police Department work in close cooperation together concerning certain criminal investigations, traffic accidents or other police matters.
