The Alumni/ae Achievement Awards honor those individuals who have sustained success in their chosen careers, have shown outstanding character and loyalty to Drew, have demonstrated the efficacy of a liberal arts education, have excelled in the field of natural or quantitative sciences, have made significant contributions to furthering the University's mission and goals, personify the ideals of the Educational Opportunity Scholars Program, and have made significant contributions to their community, state or nation as a volunteer.

Stewart Eidelson, a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon, is an assistant professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. Eidelson has performed more than 3,000 spine surgeries utilizing the most advanced technologies, and he founded SpineUniverse.com, an award-winning Web site. |

An accomplished attorney and entrepreneur, Rochelle Galiber also is a model of service. She has been a volunteer leader in numerous civic and humanitarian associations, including the Lupus Foundation, the American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, the NAACP and United Way. She currently gives support to her local residential and church communities, as well as providing diversity awareness training for local public organizations and religious groups. |

Carolyn Knox C’67, P’96

Carolyn Knox began her career working in the Drew admissions office. Over the years, she has remained committed to Drew and its mission. She has hosted more than 80 foreign exchange students in her home, worked as a reunion volunteer, and served on the College Alumni/ae Association. Over this summer, Carolyn will travel through the New Guinea jungle to the Hauna Village Mission to inoculate children. |

Mary Wickliffe C’77

Mary Wickliffe volunteered in many capacities for more than fifty years at the Summit Art Center, now the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, where she served as president and board member in the 1960's, and as a curator on the gallery committee. She credits her Drew education with the inspiration to lead the gallery committee during the time when it developed into a major exhibition venue. |

Patrick Aylward C’97

Patrick Aylward is director of the Office of the White House Chief of Staff. He was honored with the Joint Civilian Service Commendation Medal by the Department of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He also received the Professional Achievement Award from the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of the President for outstanding performance in advancing bioterrorism preparedness and homeland security objectives. |
