Hoyt-Bowne Hall

Outside Hoyt-Bowne Hall

Hoyt-Bowne Hall, also known as Hoyt is one of our oldest Residence Halls. Hoyt is nestled towards the front of campus, giving it a sense of independence along with Asbury Hall. Hoyt is very popular among the juniors and seniors. This four floor architectural gem has been featured in various movies, including Family Stone.

This traditional style hall boasts high ceilings and spacious rooms, reminding us of the Drew University of past. Despite many of the rooms being singles, Hoyt remains one of the social buildings on campus for its upper-class resident students.

The first floor houses all male students, 2 bathrooms, the Complex Residence Director, and a Resident Assistant. The second floor is co-ed by room, houses a lounge, kitchen, bathrooms, and a Resident Assistant. The third floor, also co-ed by room has a kitchen, bathrooms, and a Resident Assistant. Our all female fourth floor has a Resident Assistant and bathrooms.

Rumor has it that a ghost resides on the fourth floor.
