ASBURY HALL IS OFFLINE FOR THE 2009-2010 ACADEMIC YEAR. THE ASBURY THEME HOUSES WILL BE RELOCATED TO HASELTON HALL.
Asbury Hall is home to three of Drew's Theme Houses. Each Theme House operates independently from each other, building a community within itself, and establishing and implementing programs across campus. Each member of the Theme Houses need to apply in order to be considered. Asbury Hall is not your typical Residence Hall. This building contains three floors; each floor housing a kitchen, with a staircase that runs right through the middle of the floor, giving it a home away from home feel. Each Theme House elects a House Assistant to monitor the Theme Houses business and to act as a representative to the Office of Residence Life, as well as the entire Drew community.
The first floor of Asbury Hall houses our La Casa Theme House, the Theme House Lounge, and a kitchen area. The Theme House Lounge is a large lounge with a fireplace that is available to all three Asbury Hall Theme Houses for their activities and programs. The first floor houses 12 residents, 1 Resident Assistant, and 1 House Assistant. The second floor of Asbury Hall contains our Asia Tree House and a kitchen area. The second floor houses 19 residents and 1 House Assistant. Finally, the first floor or Spirituality House, mirrors the second floor containing a lounge, kosher kitchen, 19 residents, and 1 House Assistant.
