Faculty in the College of Liberal Arts may not informally assign an "I" on their own authority. Students must formally file for incompletes with Dean Lawler prior to the end of the semester. Grades not submitted will be assigned the grade "NR" which is averaged into the student's GPA as the grade of "U".
