1977 – Pepin Services Building dedicated

On October 16, 1867, the very first students entered Drew Theological Seminary and signed the Matriculation Book. This year marks the 140th Anniversary of the school.

1867 – First Matriculation Book Entry
1892 – 25th Anniversary Celebration
1917 – Speech at 50th Anniversary
1942 – 75th Anniversary Exercises
1967 – The Centennial Years
1992 – 125 Years of Excellence

1917 – Samuel W. Bowne Hall dedicated
1929 – Brothers College dedicated; Arlo Ayres Brown inaugurated as 6th President
1948 – Fred Garrigus Holloway inaugurated as 7th President
1979 – Tolley and Brown go co-ed

1968 – Jefferson Airplane played on campus.

1982 – Methodist Center and Learning Center dedicated.

1995 – “O.J. verdict prompts justice system review.” Although the courtroom is empty, memories of the last year-and-a-half have scarred the country as a whole and will take time to recover from. [Acorn article, October 6, 1995]
