Historical-Ephemera Finding Aid, Drew University Archives

Also available in PDF

Note

The Historical-Ephemera Files contain various documents collected to record the history of Drew University. This artificial collection represents a miscellany of Drew history, containing items such as the charter, the original deed for the property, brochures, booklets and invitations to campus events, transcripts of addresses & speeches, news clippings on Drew, some early presidential correspondence, annual calendars, and early university relations material.

The later years (1960s onward) function as an early university relations/publications collection. The collection spans from 1865 (before Drew's opening) into the 1990s. They are filed chronologically by year. Undated material is filed at the back of Box 14. [Note: more material beginning with 1994 may be available in the unprocessed records boxes in Room 312.]
