The Firefox browser is the recommended browser on campus. Firefox is secure and helps to protect your computer from unwanted pop up ads.
When on campus, double click on the Firefox icon on your desktop to launch Firefox browser.
The browser window will then open to your home page.
|
To the left of the home page screen is a place to login to the network. Enter username and password to get a list of sections of the Drew home page. This list is a quicker way for students to get to the most used web-based Drew information, software and webmail. If using a computer that is not your own please log out after usage because sensitive information about you can be obtained easily. .bmp)

| Type in the word or phrase you want the search engine to find and press the Search button at the end of the Navigation bar. The results will be displayed in the main window from the search engine. |
Instead of opening multiple Firefox windows for each webpage that you want to visit, Firefox has the function to open several different sub-windows, or tabs, within each main browser window. |
To open a new tab, go to File -> New Tab or press CTRL+T. Once there is more than one tab open, you can also press the small icon to the immediate left of the first tab. .bmp)

To move between tabs, click once on the tab heading or use CTRL+TAB to move between tabs. .bmp)
