Roxio CD Burning Software
Roxio is a powerful CD creation program that is capable of creating many kinds of CDs: audio CDs, data CDs, video CDs, mixed mode CDs, and more. Using Roxio Easy Media Creator, it is easy to make custom CDs filled with whatever you want.

Opening Roxio Easy Media Creator 8
Click on Start > All Programs > Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 > Home.
You should receive the Roxio welcome screen:

Burning an Audio CD
Making an audio CD is easy using Roxio. To do so:
Put your cursor over the CD and music note icon. 
Click the Make Audio CD button. 
This will open the Roxio burner. Click the Add Music button to begin adding audio files to your CD.


Double-click each file name or click each file name and then click
Add to add files to your list.
When you are done click
Finished to close the window.
You can change the order of your files easily by clicking and dragging them up or down.
Clicking on a file also enables you to delete it from the list, play it, or view/edit its properties.
When you are finished, click the red button in the bottom right-hand corner.
- When you are done make sure you have an appropriate CD in the drive, and then click red button in the bottom right-hand corner.
- To save this project so the same file set can be easily selected in the future, click Done. To save the project as a playlist, click on Save As Playlist. Select a name and destination for the file and click, OK.
- You should receive confirmation that your CD has been successfully burned.

Burning a Data CD
Making a data CD is easy using Roxio. To do so:
Put your cursor over the folder and CD icon. 
Click the Data Disc button. 
This will open the Roxio burner. Click the Add Data button, using the drop-down menu to select the correct files or folders to begin adding files to your CD.

Roxio will open your My Documents folder, enabling you to browse for files to add.
Double-click each file name or click each file name and then click Add Files to add files to your list.
When you are done click Finished to close the window.
Clicking on a file enables you to delete it from the list.
When you are finished, click the red button in the bottom right-hand corner.
You will then have the option to select your burner and to name your CD.
When you are done make sure you have an appropriate CD in the drive, and then click Burn.
You will be asked where you want to save the image file. Navigate to your CD-R or CD-RW drive and click Save.
You should receive confirmation that your CD has been successfully burned.
