(The Garden State Distinguished Scholars Program)
Description: A merit program for N.J. residents who demonstrate superior achievement. Candidates are selected by their high schools and designated Bloustein Scholars by the N.J. Office of Student Assistance.
Benefits: $950 per year upon acceptance of nomination and attendance at a N.J. college or university. Renewable for four years if student makes satisfactory academic progress and remains a state resident.
