Description: For students with exceptional need, from educationally or economically disadvantaged backgrounds, who have been N.J. residents at least 12 months prior to receiving the grant. Must be a full-time student. Garden State Scholarship holders are not eligible. Generally, family income cannot exceed $21,700 annually for a two-person household to $49,700 for a seven-person household. (Exceptions may be made in extreme circumstances.)
Benefits:$2,300 per year, depending on a student's financial need and satisfactory academic progress.
