The Regional Committee assits the Alumni Office in support of the goal of building and strengthening the global alumni community by developing a support network for regional leaders. Working with regional group leaders and the Office of Alumni Relations, the committee works to establish best practices to ensure the success of existing regional groups and encourage the development of new groups, and provides for the building and maintaining of strong ties between regional groups and the University. Among the tasks to be accomplished are establishing objectives for regional group organization and activity, distributing information updates from Drew to regional leaders to keep them informed about news from the University, and regularly collecting information on regional group activities.
Regional Groups
While there is a large concentration of graduates around the Forest, there also are numbers of alumni in cities across the globe. Regional groups provide a community connection to local graduates, keeping us connected to Drew and each other. |
