About the Department
The mission of the International Student Services Office is to assist international students in the campus community and to support them in their educational endeavors.
International Student Services is devoted to:
- Orienting and aiding international students as they adjust to the varied aspects of their new environment such as a new school system, culture, language, and food.
- Programming activities to promote intercultural understanding and to help students learn about life in the U.S. as well as to integrate students into the campus and community; Programming to educate the campus community about the wonderful, unique cultures of our international students
- Providing a place where students can express their needs openly, and helping students make their unique needs known to the campus community so that accommodations and adjustments can be made when appropriate.

- Assisting students to comply with INS regulations and to education the campus community on immigration regulations.
