Kim has been the Director of the Career Center since September 2008.  She comes from the College of Staten Island/CUNY where she was Associate Director of the Career and Scholarship Center.  She has worked in career services for 17 years, specializing in career counseling and development.  She developed the course, "Career and Life Planning," and was an instructor for ten years.  She is the Co-Author of, "Job Hunting Made Easy," and is the creator of the Pathfinder Program (a career development program for first year students).  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the College of Staten Island and a Master of Science in School Counseling from St. John's University.

 

Suzanne Ceravolo, Assistant Director

Sue is the Assistant Director of the Drew University Career Center and has worked at Drew since 2001.  She is a Master's level counselor, experienced in career development, counseling, employer relations, program development and career assessment.  Sue oversees the Center's Student to Professional Program, which includes the Interview Program, Career Talk Series, and Life After Drew events.  Prior to Drew, Sue worked in Corporate Human Resources, where she held positions in Recruiting, Employee Relations and Compensation.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Human Development from Montclair State University.

Flore Dorcely, Coordinator, Academic Internship Program and Federal Community Service Program

Flore joined the Career Center in 2006.  Prior to Drew, she worked as a Youth Employment Specialist for New Jersey High Schools and has worked at the Career Services department at Bloomfield College.  Her professional experience also includes work as a Business Consultant for a Wall Street Executive Recruiter and Career Coach.  She is an active member of the Internship Sub-Committee of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce and formerly served on the Executive Board of the New Jersey Association of Colleges and Employers.  Flore is a Drew Alum with a BA in Sociology and has completed her MA in Counseling with a concentration in Student Affairs-Higher Education from Montclair State University.

 

Mary Jane Ryan, Coordinator, Part-Time Student Employment and Administrative Assistant

Mary Jane has been at the Center for Career Development since 1989, serving as the Internship Assistant for six years. Currently, as the Administrative Assistant and Coordinator of Part-Time Student Employment, she handles the day-to-day functions of the office, including full and part-time job postings, event marketing, purchasing, and budget maintenance. Mary Jane and her family are Puppy Raisers for The Seeing Eye. Together, they have raised eight puppies and are currently raising their ninth, Bailey, who is frequently found resting under Mary Jane’s desk.

 

Suzanne Rocco, Secretary/Internship Assistant/Alumni Office Liaison

Suzanne has been with the Center for Career Development since September 2007. As the Internship Assistant/Alumni Affairs Liaison, Suzanne assists students with the completion of their internship requirements. In addition, she conducts internship searches, maintains the online database, and processes documents. For the Federal Community Service Program, Suzanne clears students for participation and maintains contracts with employers. As Liaison to the Alumni Affairs office, she maintains and updates the Alumni Mentor database. Suzanne holds a B.A. in Communication Arts from Villanova University and has worked as a Creative Director and Marketing Director in the direct mail industry.
