Program description

The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a test of both general reasoning and scientific reasoning skills. The Yoho MCAT-Verbal Preparation Course will show you how to approach the entire test strategically, with special attention paid to the Verbal Reasoning section and Writing Sample.  This program will use real MCAT questions for practice and demonstration.

The Yoho MCAT-Verbal Preparation Course will help beginning and experienced test-takers alike understand:

  • How much practice is necessary
  • What procedural strategies to use on the entire test, including the science sections
  • Why the right answers are right and the wrong answers are wrong in the verbal reasoning section
  • How to properly balance speed and accuracy while taking the exam
  • How to practice and improve in advance of the exam
  • How the MCAT fits into the larger picture of medical school admissions
