Crawford Hall, Ehinger Center
CRCC teams up with Peace Islands Institute for a joint program:
On Abraham’s Table: Freedom of (or From) Religion?
Where is the line between freedom of expression as protected speech, and hate speech, as banned by law in many states and nations?
What is the appropriate balance between freedom of religious expression and laws that exclude religion in certain spaces (i.e “separation of church and state”)?
These and other questions will be explored in this critical conversation with an interfaith panel about religion and society today.
Dr. Nuray Yurt, Ph.D., Director of Peace Islands Institute in Central Jersey
