As an intiative of the Center for Religion, Culture and Conflict, the PeaceBuilders’ mission is to facilitate peace building efforts by engaging in cooperative work efforts in conflict areas around the world. We recognize that through awareness, education and advocacy we can contribute to fostering a culture of peace at home and abroad.We believe that while political outcomes are important, grassroots organizing has the potential to empower people from all backgrounds to take peace into their own hands.
The PeaceBuilders will serve as a resource to bring together motivated people from the United States and abroad. We aim to create a space where international grassroots peace organizations and activists can connect, share and learn. We hope to be a part of a greater goal to build the foundations of peace so urgently needed in the world today.
