From contemporary end-of-life concerns to the centuries-long efforts to engineer organisms, the introduction of human design, decision-making, and real-world application into areas where mortals have often feared to tread marks a compelling area for further inquiry. “‘Playing God’: Disciplinary Perspectives” is a faculty panel and discussion intended to analyze this intersection of pressing social issues with deeply held religious discourses.
