Computing and Network Services provides a number of different ways to access Drew network resources when off-campus.
Access to your email is always available from off-campus using Drew’s supported email package, GroupWise. In addition, GroupWise WebAccess allows you to access your mail from any web-browser, anywhere in the world. It can be found at webaccess.drew.edu.
- Information on how to use WebAccess can be found on U-KNOW.
Network Applications through CloudPC
The Virtual PC (VPC) Client, CloudPC, allows you to access academic software available via the campus network from off-campus. It is available at cloudpc.drew.edu.
- Information on using CloudPC can be found on U-KNOW.
DocXchanger
DocXchanger is a file sharing client that Drew faculty, staff, and students can use to share files with one another and with non-Drew users. From off-campus, DocXchanger can be accessed from http://docx.drew.edu.
- More information on DocXchanger (including using it on campus) is available from the DONUT documentation.
Secure FTP
University Technology has set up a secure FTP server to allow members of the Drew Community to access their files and folders from off campus. While the recommended method for remote file access is DocXchanger, the secure FTP server provides another option for those members of the Drew Community that feel comfortable using a secure FTP client.
- Information on using Secure FTP can be found on U-KNOW.
NetStorage (formerly WebFiles)
NetStorage is a way to use any Web browser to upload and download files to your network drives. It is available at netstorage.drew.edu.
