CORONAVIRUS: CAE RESOURCES

Drew University continues to monitor the impact of the COVID-19 novel.

Our landing page on WCOnline will provide updates on the status of on-campus and remote CAE resources in response to this changing situation. Please note our FAQs and some policies may not address the changing nature of this situation.

GENERAL CAE RESOURCES

Following the University’s decision to pivot to online courses for the Fall 2020 semester, the CAE will offer remote academic support sessions via WCOnline and Zoom.

All updates to CAE resources will be posted on our WCOnline landing page.

Please note the following about utilizing CAE resources:

  • The CAE will open fully for the Fall 2020 semester on Sunday, August 30,2020.  Drop In sessions for select courses will begin Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Please review these instructions for accessing your online appointment or make new appointments via www.drew.mywconline.com.
  • All appointments are synchronous, meaning the tutor and student are tutoring live in real time using a video chat.
    • **IMPORTANT**If you are reviewing a paper, you must upload the paper as a Word Document or you can copy and paste your paper into the consultation screen.
  • Drop-In sessions have been converted into ‘small group’ appointments, with up to 3 clients per appointment slot.  Clients MUST make an appointment to access the tutor/host on the FA20 Online Individual Tutoring Schedule.
  • Please adhere to etiquette guidelines and practices while participating in your online session. Review guidelines and best practices here.
