Drew University continues to monitor the impact of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. Please refer to the campus resource site for the latest campus information, including a list of frequently asked questionstravel guidelines and messages to the University community. You’ll also find links to important resources. This information will be regularly updated.

Our landing page on WCOnline will provide updates on the status of on-campus and remote CAE resources in response to this changing situation. We will add information to this guide as it becomes available. Please note our FAQs and some policies may not address the changing nature of this situation.

GENERAL CAE RESOURCES

Following the University’s decision to pivot to online, distance learning, the CAE is actively providing academic support using online tutoring sessions via WCOnline. As a result, the CAE will be converting all Individual and Drop-In appointments to online appointments using WCOnline.

All updates to CAE resources will be posted on our WCOnline landing page.

Please note the following about utilizing CAE resources:

  • If you have a Drew University in-person appointment, your appointment will be switched to an online session at the same time depending on tutor availability.
  • All appointments are synchronous, meaning the tutor and student are tutoring live in real time using a video chat.
    • **IMPORTANT**If you are reviewing a paper, you must upload the paper as a Word Document or you can copy and paste your paper into the consultation screen. 
  • Drop-In sessions will be converted into ‘small group’ appointments, with up to 3 clients per appointment slot.  Clients MUST make an appointment to access the tutor/host on the Individual Tutoring Schedule. The Drop-In Schedule will no longer be visible.
  • Please adhere to etiquette guidelines and practices while participating in your online session. Review guidelines and best practices here.
