Child Development Center

About the Center

The Child Development Center is an on-site child care center established to meet the needs of the Drew University community. The center, which opened in 1990, is equipped to meet the needs of children ages 6 weeks - 6 years old.

The center provides a nurturing, stimulating environment for children which emphasizes social, emotional, and cognitive experiences in a group setting. The design of our program and options available are sensitive to the unique needs of the university's faculty, staff, students, and administration.

The Child Development Center is licensed by the Division of Youth and Family Services of the New Jersey Department of Human Services. The Chronicle of Higher Education reported in a national study that Drew University was one of 29 "family friendly" campuses in the country. Our commitment to quality child care certainly has been recognized.
