Kia Bourdot, Sarah Robinson and Caitlin Duffy C’15: Junior Leadership Community Service Project Team hosted a blood drive in conjunction with Zufall Health Center. They collected over 50 donations and received a $500 scholarship from NJ Blood Services. The funds from this scholarship were donated to the Zufall Health Center of Morristown, a non-profit and fully licensed Federally Qualified Health Center that provides both medical and dental care to residents of North Jersey, regardless of income or insurance status.
- Enroll in Community-Based Learning (CBL) classes or Civic Internships in any field
- Focus half of your community service involvement on a single issue or with a single organization
- Complete a minimum of 100 hours of service benefiting communities beyond Drew’s campus each year (at least 50 hours completed while classes are in session at Drew)
- Complete the requirements for your Junior Leadership Team: Planning and Events, News Team, Community Service Opportunities, and First-Year Civic Project Advisors
