Teacher Education Cohorts

Teacher Education Cohorts

Keep learning. Create your community of teachers and expand your skill set—affordably and on your own schedule.

The field of education is always evolving, and so should your access to knowledge and resources. Drew’s flexible Teacher Education Cohorts create their own spaces for continued learning.

Form cohorts of 10 or more teachers. Don’t have enough from your school? Band together with teachers from neighboring schools and districts. Contact us and let’s work together to build your cohort!

You’ll have the opportunity to earn a New Jersey endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL) and Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD). These courses can count as Professional Development days and be applied towards credit for a Master of Education degree.

Just a reminder, you don’t have to be part of a cohort to enroll for class.  This is just another way that Drew provides convenient and flexible learning opportunities.

Why choose Drew Teacher Education?

Convenience
You’re a teacher. You’re busy. That’s why Drew Teacher Education programs can come to you, meet online or at Drew, or a combination of the three. The semester-long program can also be condensed to 8 weeks to fit your schedule.

Flexibility
With multiple disciplines (ESL, TOSD, Conflict Resolution), hybrid teaching formats and flexible start dates, this works for anyone’s interests, learning style and schedule.

Affordability
At Drew, 92% of our students qualify for scholarships or other financial assistance. Plus, we offer significant additional scholarships just for teacher education students, eligible to anyone employed full-time at a school, college or university. Tuition is about what you’d pay at most New Jersey institutions.
