Resources for Transfer Students

Make a Move. We Got Your Back.

Sometimes we look around us and realize, “You know what, I want something different.”

And that’s good. It means we’re growing, and making sure our situation grows along with us.

Drew may be the right “different” for you. Take a look at us, and if you find you want in, let us know. We have a well-defined process in place to help you make your move.

If You’re From Bergen, Brookdale, CCM or Raritan Valley…

We have a bit of a different process for you: Both schools will work together to ease you through a seamless transition. Use the links to get the details:

Transfer Credits: Because You’ve Worked Hard.

Sweat, maybe tears (but hopefully not blood!) have already gone into your studies. You deserve to keep the credits you’ve earned, so we help you transfer up to 80 credits.

Ask us for a preliminary evaluation of your transcript, and we’ll tell you which credits are likely to transfer in. After you’re admitted, we’ll perform the official evaluation.

Transferring internationally? Go ahead and use this course-to-course evaluation from World Educational Services.

Scholarships for You

As a transfer student, you have access to multiple scholarships. Check them out here. (Link to anchor at transfer section of new Fin Aid -> Types of Aid -> Grants & Scholarships page.)

Adding to that, if you’re a member of Phi Theta Kappa and have your associates degree, you’re also eligible for the PTK Scholarship of $2,500 per year!

Orientation: Because Comfort is Key

You’ll obviously find some differences between your current school and Drew, but we want you to feel comfortable from the get-go. That’s why we’ve developed a full transfer student orientation process. You’ll get a transfer-exclusive experience your first day, then be folded in with the rest of your schoolmates after that.
