A prolific writer and a widely respected public intellectual, Reza Aslan frequently appears on major nationally broadcasted programs such as Meet the Press, CNN’s GPS with Fareed Zakaria, MSNBC’s UP with Chris Hayes, The PBS News Hour, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report. Author of the bestselling No god, but God and How to Win a Cosmic War, Professor Aslan has a column with The Daily Beast and maintains a widely read Twitter feed. He is an expert on Islam, Iran, the Middle East, contemporary Muslim life, and new social media. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations
