To continue the programming surrounding the Class of 2017 common reading, “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,” the Office of Student Activities and the CLA Dean’s Office are presenting a controversies panel discussion on vaccinations. This event is intended to keep within that realm of scientific debate; with aspects of the controversy presented for the first year students and others in the audience.
Panelists include Dr. Joyce Maglione, Director of Health Services; Dr. Christina McKittrick,
Associate Professor of Biology and Director, Neuroscience Program; & Dr. Jonathan Rose, William R. Kenan Professor of History. Light refreshments will be served.
