The Drew University baseball team is locked in a tight playoff chase that will come down to the very last day of the regular season. The Rangers need your help in bringing that infectious energy to Doc Young Field and help send the Drew Boys of Spring to the Landmark Conference Playoffs.
Here’s the situation: The Rangers are currently in fourth place in the Landmark Conference with a 7-7 record and can control their own fate with a four-game stint at home this weekend. The final stretch kicks off on Friday, when Drew will conclude its Landmark Conference series with The Catholic University of America after the two sides split a doubleheader earlier in April. The Rangers close out the regular season conference slate with a three-game series against The University of Scranton beginning on Saturday with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. It can all come down to one game on Sunday, the single, nine-inning game against the Royals to be played at noon at The Doc.
Saturday will also be a special day for the Rangers baseball program, which will celebrate the careers of five players on Senior Day. Pregame ceremonies will also include the retirement of 28-year baseball coach Vince Masco’s jersey No. 19.
