How scholarly communication services make the invisible college visible
Google Scholar Profiles, Researchgate.net, Academia.edu…
a growing number of services are out there to help researchers manage their citations and connect with others in their fields.
This workshop is an introduction to how scholars are using online research profiles/ networks to claim, track, promote and share their research.
- Google Scholar
as well as services like ORCid and ResearcherID. We’ll also touch on the broader issues of copyright and scholarship involved.
If you choose, you can leave the workshop with a basic Google Scholar Profile set up to display your publications.
Sessions are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, March 15, 4-5 pm
- Wednesday, March 16, Noon-1pm
- Friday, March 18, 3-4 pm
