Is your club, department or organization planning an event that benefits Drew’s broader communities? Consider holding it during Community Action Week, April 16–22!
Be a part of a great tradition on campus that highlights Drew’s commitment to service, sustainability and civic engagement.
It is co-sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement, the Drew Office of Sustainability, the Volunteer Resource Center, the Theological School and student groups such as DEAL. Examples of past events during Community Action Week include:
- service trips to local organizations
- film screenings on topics such as climate change and immigration
- seminars or forums dedicated to topics such as food security and clean water
If you are a faculty, student or staff who has an idea that could fit into Community Action Week, please share it with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 973-408-3169.
