What: Cooking a meal for residents at the Eric Johnson House in Morristown (The Eric Johnson House is “a transitional housing program for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS”).

When: October 20th, 2013. Trip will be from roughly 2:30 pm – 7 pm.

Where: The Eric Johnson House in Morristown, NJ.

Join the VRC on October 20th on a trip to the Eric Johnson House in Morristown.The Eric Johnson House is “a transitional housing program for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS.” On the 20th, students and faculty will come together to clean and organize the house. More importantly, we will all be cooking a meal for the residents and then sit down and enjoy it with them.

 

The mission of New Jersey AIDS Services is to respond compassionately and responsibly to the HIV/AIDS crisis by providing supportive services, housing opportunities, prevention strategies and education to enhance the community we serve. The vision of NJAS is to create a community of acceptance where the social issues of HIV/AIDS can be abundantly met.
