The Department of Theatre & Dance and Drew University Dramatic Society present our first show of the 2013-14 season, Oscar Wilde’s classic (and hilarious!) comedy of manners, The Importance of Being Earnest. Performances in the Thomas H. Kean Theatre in the Dorothy Young Center for the Arts are:
- Wednesday, October 2 at 7:00 pm
- Thursday, October 3 at 8:00 pm
- Friday, October 4 at 8:00 pm
- Saturday, October 5 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $10 (2 for 1 on Thursday!), and you can make reservations by leaving a message at 973-408-3030, or on-line by following the “Reservations” link of the Theatre & Dance Dept. homepage at drew.edu/theatrearts/ . And season subscriptions ($40–half price!) for all of our 13-14 shows will be on sale before performances. Wilde aptly subtitled his play “A Trivial Comedy for Serious People.” Whether you are serious or trivial, you will have a grand time.
