Kimberly is a senior at Drew, majoring in English with minors in Writing, Sociology, and Women’s Studies. From Verona, New Jersey, she is an annual recipient of the Dean’s Award Scholarship and received the Shilpa Raval Prize in Women’s and Gender Studies and the Humanities in May of 2012.

Outside of the classroom, Kimberly serves as a tutor at the Writing Center, where she gives fellow students feedback about their work, and as a Conversation Partner, meeting weekly with a Korean student to help polish the student’s English conversation skills.

Kimberly is interested in a career in journalism and hopes to become a news anchor. She has found many experiences at Drew to help her pursue this goal.  She is Lead Reporter and Features Editor for the The Acorn, which has given her the opportunity to interview Drew Forum speakers Anderson Cooper, Tony Blair, Robert Gates, and Robin Wright.  She has interned with the Daily Record newspaper, Lucky magazine, and hMAG magazine, and is a contributing writer for the Gateway Messenger.
