The Men’s Rugby Club was founded at Drew University in 1971. The team plays a full schedule of intercollegiate competition as a member of the USA Rugby Union, traveling to matches & tournaments all over the Atlantic Seaboard. The club offers prospective members an outlet for tough physical play on the field and social camaraderie off the field. The rugby club helps to instill a passion for the game and helps prepare its members for life after college by allowing players to practice teamwork, time management, leadership, and physical and mental toughness. The club welcomes both experienced and inexperienced players to join the team.
