On Move In Day, Friday, August 30, everyone is permitted to bring a car on campus, however, all cars must be parked in designated parking areas.
First year students who live in the residence halls are are not permitted to have a car on campus. First year students and transfer students who are commuting to campus (not resident students) are allowed to have a car on campus – a parking permit is required at all times.
Commuter Student Parking
Commuter students can park in designated parking lots during New Student Orientation:
C (Commuter) PERMIT HOLDERS:
- The Commuter Parking Lot is behind Sitterly House.
- Parking is permitted in the green-lined spaces in the lot behind Sitterly House.
- Do not park in the yellow-lined spaces in this lot. They are reserved for faculty/staff.
- Parking is also permitted in any white-lined space on campus that is not otherwise designated for a particular group, as well as in the Main and Tilghman parking lots.
