Important Dates for New Students Starting Fall 2013
- New first year students – Attend a June Orientation program!
- New transfer students – Attend Transfer Orientation!
- Complete and submit all required steps outlined on your Welcome page
- Early Arrivals (fall sport athletes): contact your coach for specific information
- New Student Orientation (Move In Day): Friday, August 30, 2013
- Prior to August 30, 2013 – every students must complete all required items on the Welcome page; holds on your account will prevent you from moving in!
- Pay your bill
- Submit all health forms to Health Service
- Fill out health insurance waiver form (if necessary)
- A meningitis vaccination confirmation must be submitted to Health Service (resident students only)
- First Day of Classes: Tuesday, September 3, 2013
- Welcome Week: September 3 – 8, 2013
- Activities Fair: Thursday, September 4 at 2 PM, Commons Lawn
- Join a club, find an on-campus job – Get Involved!
- Alumni and Family Weekend: Friday, October 4 – 6, 2013
- Registration for Spring 2014 courses: November 4 – 13, 2013
- Recess for Thanksgiving holiday: Wednesday, November 27, 2013
- Residence Halls close at 12 PM on 11/27
- Halls re-open on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 12 PM (noon)
- Final Exams Begin: Thursday, December 12, 2013
- Move out of residence halls 24 hours after your last final exam
- Residence halls close at 12 PM (noon) on Thursday, December 19, 2013
