Sports Information
The Sports Information Office is responsible for disseminating information regarding Drew’s 18 varsity athletic programs to the local and national media, the Landmark Conference, the ECAC, and the NCAA.
The office compiles statistics, maintains all the record books, and produces a brochure for each sport which serves as both a recruiting tool for the coaches and as a guide to aid the media in their coverage of Ranger athletics.
Throughout the course of the year, the Sports Information Director (SID) nominates athletes for both athletic and academic awards. The department also coordinates all photography and contributes articles to the Drew magazine, updating alumni on the status of Drew’s athletic programs.
The SID is also a voting member of Drew’s Athletic Hall of Fame committee.
